Robert Cella is an attorney with the Mitzel Law Group PLC, serving clients in the Ann Arbor community and greater Detroit Metro. He has 20 years of legal experience, previously instructing regarding the role as special fiduciary in the Macomb County Probate for the attorney training session. He argued in the trial court level before bench and jury, and before the Michigan Court of Appeals, drafting a winning appellate brief resulting in a legal precedent interpreting MCL 700.3805(3) in re Estate of Donald Matusinski, Michigan Court of Appeals Case #268553. His practice at Mitzel centers on estate and tax planning, probate litigation as well as administering conservatorships, developmentally disabled estates, decedent estates and trusts and guardianships.

 

Robert graduated from the University of Detroit Law School, with honors in applied legal theory. He and his wife and family live in Clinton Township. and attend San Francesco Catholic Church. Robert is a member of the Men of the Sacred Heart. He initiated a chapter for the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart apostolate in Birmingham, Alabama by approval of Bishop Robert Baker. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section and the Washtenaw County Estate Planning Council.
