Firm Attorney Participates in Washtenaw County Bar Association Law Day

The month of May brings an opportunity for local attorneys to give back and help their local community with pro bono events around Washtenaw County.  May 1, 2018 marked the Washtenaw County Bar Association’s 61st Law Day which is a day dedicated to celebrating and fostering an understanding of the role law plays in the local community.  On Law Day attorneys volunteer their time, offering 20-30 minute consultations at no cost on a variety of legal matters including estate planning, probate, real estate, and general civil matters.  Attorney Richard Zmijewski of the Mitzel Law Group assisted individuals with their probate and estate planning questions at the Ypsilanti District Library in Ypsilanti Township.  Together, there were ten volunteer attorneys who served 33 members of the local community.
